Good day and hello!

I have disassembled a radiator. Unfortunately, the water drain has a very strange size: an end cap with 1 inch is a bit too small. The next size 1 1/4 inch is already much too big.

I just can't find the right size and soon I will definitely have to heat again, otherwise the pipes will burst when it gets below freezing.

Blind caps are also available on Amazon in 3/4"

If 1" is too small, then 3/4" all the more so.

1. Take a caliper and get the exact measurement 2. If 1. results in you actually having a measurement that no longer exists in specialty stores, then simply unscrew the small threaded attachment. A standard thread will definitely appear.

The white elbow has an internal thread, the other part is sealed with hemp. The elbow has pipe threads, there are sealing plugs for that.

Thank you very much, I removed the threaded attachment and then I actually had a 3/4 inch standard thread. Bought a valve, problem finally solved. Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees. Great guy, cool community
