Hello,

I have a 5x5 Expedit shelf and would like to equip it with Capita feet. Does anyone have experience with that? I have already done some googling and found pictures where someone screwed 3x2 feet underneath. Too unstable?
Does anyone know about this?

Hello
try it with Ekby legs, you can screw them to the floor, they are nice and very stable (square profile - not round)
best regards bergpriv :)

I find it a bit uncertain because the side panels of the Expedit are hollow inside and with feet the load capacity of the individual surfaces is very uncertain. Furthermore, it is very wobbly if it is not attached to the wall...

yes, I also think that is less good because the Ikea furniture is almost all made of light wood and hollow inside. if you drill a hole, it usually breaks out. That's why holes are always pre-drilled in kitchen tops/desk tops. So I definitely wouldn't put it there freestanding anymore, at most additionally screw it to the wall
