Hello,
we live in a terraced end house for rent and since we like it so much, we could imagine buying it. Between us as tenants and the owner, there is still an administration. How could we best proceed to submit a purchase inquiry? Should we address it to the administration or directly to the owner?

Regards
Wiesenthal

Okay, and how do you write such a request best? Are there template letters for something like this? I found nothing on that.

From my point of view, unnecessarily complicated procedure. He is your landlord, so you should have the contact details. Therefore: express your interest by phone. Then you will know whether there is basic interest. If yes, follow up with a short letter emphasizing your purchase interest (the landlord will then possibly consider it in more detail and deal with it further if he has not done so yet). If no: do not invest much time in correspondence.

exactly short routes. Just call and express your interest. Also keep in mind that it does not necessarily have to be about selling. In the current times, good renting is worth more than stashing a high amount almost interest-free in the account....
