Hello,
I will finish my legal clerkship in August and am currently considering how to invest my money. Besides financial transactions, I have also thought about buying a condominium in Braunschweig.
Since I have no experience regarding buying an apartment, I wanted to roughly clarify here whether such an investment makes sense at all.
De facto, it looks like the apartments would cost between €160,000 and €200,000, with approximately €250 monthly for [Hausgeld+Grundsteuer]. I would have around €850 available as well as the current warm rent of €465, and I also want to set aside €400 monthly. Equity capital max. €10,000.
What do you think? Better to wait (more equity) or take the plunge? My net salary will also gradually increase over the next few years. Also, I am currently single, but I believe private matters should be separated from such a decision anyway...
