Hello,

today here is our first entry. We have now decided and want to build a bungalow.
Our plot will probably be 18 m wide and 37 m long.
Now we are looking for tips for the floor plan, we actually wanted to have the entrance on the narrow side and the living room with kitchen at the other end. Then we would still need 2 children's rooms, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and a study. We want to integrate the guest toilet into the utility room.
Does anyone have some information?

Regards, Lasse

Hello,

here is what I think is a quite successful bungalow floor plan. Maybe the fireplace room can be turned into an office.

Hello,

well, whoever wants to be satisfied with such a messed-up floor plan.
Off the top of my head, I can think of quite a few points that speak against this floor plan, some of which are serious planning errors.
But as I said, it's a matter of taste and/or what one is willing to accept.

Regards Danton

Hello Danton,
I have to agree with you 100%.
This floor plan has nothing functional, nothing beautiful, nothing practical, nothing sensible....
It is simply a failure. Just the path from the kitchen to the dining area.. Or generally the placement of the kitchen. It should be close to the front door (because of carrying the groceries).
That's how I see the whole thing. But as you already said: it’s purely a matter of taste

Hello Lasse,

of course, there are probably some people near you who have even studied this, they call themselves architects :)

Getting the desired floor plan created for free in the forum will not work.

Hello
that was not my goal to have a house planned here,
rather it was a request if someone had already faced this "problem" :)
and what tips and suggestions you have.
Sometimes you are so blind yourself and do not pay attention to important details
(children's room not next to the living room or kitchen or something like that)

Regards Lasse
