Dear forum,

I am currently experiencing the joys and frustrations of kitchen planning and hope for your help. In my new kitchen, I would like a built-in refrigerator with a freezer compartment (built-in so that it looks nice with the fronts). Ideally, the size for me would be Svalkas:

Product dimensions
Width: 54.0 cm
Depth: 54.9 cm
Height: 87.3 cm
Cable length: 240 cm
Refrigerator capacity: 109 l
Freezer capacity: 14 l
Weight: 29.00 kg
Energy efficiency class A++. Scale ranges from A+++ (highest efficiency) to D (lowest efficiency).
Annual energy consumption 151 kWh/year.
Net volume refrigerator: 109 l.
Net volume freezer compartment: 14 l. 4-star freezer compartment.
Noise emissions 38 dB (A).
Climate class: SN/T.
Freezing capacity: 2 kg/24 hrs.
With LED lighting; does not need to be replaced.
Refrigerant: R600a.
Voltage: 220-240V.
Storage time in case of power failure: 10 hrs.
Refrigerant: R600a.
Defrost system: automatic (refrigerator); manual (freezer).
With ice cube tray.
With 1 ice scraper.
With 1 compartment for 6 eggs.
With 1 vegetable drawer.

But this thing seems to only be installable in a mega tall cabinet with a height of 220 cm! Yet the refrigerator itself is only 87.3 cm high. Can it not be installed under the countertop? Or also in a cabinet that is only 148 cm high? The only refrigerator that, according to the HomePlanner, can be installed under the countertop (and has a freezer compartment) is "HUTTRA", but that one is clearly too small (and there is also a lot of space between the refrigerator and the countertop).

Any ideas from your side?

Hello, it cannot go under the countertop. I don't know why it shouldn't be possible to install it in a 140 cm high cabinet, as long as there is sufficient ventilation. You can also check other manufacturers for built-in refrigerators.
