Building society loans - Are conditions negotiable?

Hello,

Can we also negotiate with building society companies? In particular, the following fees, which are quite high for our taste, really hurt us:

Land registry entry 1.2% - 120% of the capital
Processing fee up to 3.0%
Equity replenishment fee up to 2%
Margin up to 2%

Which conditions are negotiable here and to what extent?

There will hardly be anything to negotiate, you can only choose between the different variants.

Hello,

I can only agree with my predecessor. As a rule, construction companies have their fixed contract templates that they follow. However, asking never hurt. Just explain your case to your [Bausparunternehmen] and ask if and where there might be any room for negotiation on the price. Maybe you'll be lucky and they will still accommodate you a bit. ;)
