Hello,
A single-family house is being built on our western garden property boundary. The house itself has a distance from our property boundary of around 2.50m to 2.70m. However, the house has a staircase that is set forward towards our property. This means that the brick staircase comes closer to our property boundary. Here, the distance is only about 2.00m to 2.20m. Is this lawful? Or is this a "secondary building element" that can and may extend closer to a property boundary?
We do not want to rush to the building authority over such a matter and possibly create a "bad atmosphere" with the new neighbors as a basis in advance if, in the end, everything is in order and compliant... That is why I am turning to you.
Thank you in advance for your help
