Hello,
I have found an architect whose houses and floor plans we really like. He also seems like a good person. BUT, he has been designing wooden houses out of conviction for about 20 years, but apparently also solid constructions for a few years now. He has also already built hybrids, for example a wooden house with a concrete ceiling. His references (wooden houses) are excellent.
For service phases 1-4 I have no concerns, here the material probably plays a rather minor role. But what role does his specialization play in the execution planning, tendering, and construction management? I would somehow prefer if he had been overseeing construction sites with stone houses for 20 years, but maybe I am wrong about that. What do you think?
No, I do not want a wooden house
