Building Inspector / Construction Supervision Hamburg

Hello,

we want to build in Hamburg and are considering involving an independent building inspector. I have heard of the
[Verband privater Bauherren] in Hamburg.

Does anyone have experience with them or can give other recommendations?
An architect will probably be very expensive.

We are looking for someone who often visits the construction site, immediately notices defects, and passes this on to the site manager.
As a layperson, you don't see that. Or who checks important sections.
