Hello dear ones,
I am new here, have already browsed a bit but found nothing related to my question...
So: I have a Kivik 2-seater with chaise longue combination...currently the chaise longue is on the right (when sitting on the sofa). We are moving and in the new living room the chaise longue has to be on the other side. Since I threw away my assembly instructions, unfortunately I can no longer check how much effort the conversion is and how it actually works!
Has anyone of you ever done this conversion? Was it very complicated? How long did it take? And is there anything I should pay attention to?
I assume that I have to tip the sofa onto the backrest, unscrew both armrests, unhook the chaise longue, unscrew the "frame" for hanging it and fix it on the other side upside down again...then rehook the chaise longue, reattach the armrests and done!?
Or do I possibly have to remove one of the covers or something else unforeseen?
I would be very happy about tips and reports of experience!
Thank you very much and best regards!
