Hello everyone,
In the building application, we planned a double garage that is slightly below street level in order to stay within the allowed 3 meters
of the boundary development. We have now realized that this makes little sense.
We would therefore like to bring the garage up to street level, but then we exceed the 3 meters.
We would therefore like to build a carport on the boundary and next to it, i.e. towards the house, a single garage.
Here is the previous planning:

Now my question is whether the "roof" of the carport also counts as the reference point or whether it is the roof of the garage, which will be 3 meters away from the boundary.
We especially want to do without the double garage, as it really does not look nice for the neighbor (who would nevertheless agree to it).
The whole thing is planned in BaWü.
Maybe someone can help. If it would be within the allowed standards, of course, that would be best for me.
Thank you and regards
