Hello,
since we are currently renovating our bathroom completely and have planned screed + walk-in shower, we are also considering whether the 1.50 m large shower should be turned into a steam bath right away. We have also seen ready-made steam bath cabins, but we prefer the walk-in version of a shower with continuous tiles. Now I am looking for steam generators and installation tips. I have already found some, but it seems that the topic is more widespread in Austria, as there are shops and products specialized in this here. Is that true, or are there other reasons why it is not yet so common in Germany?
Planning details so far are: sloped ceiling due to droplet formation, ventilation opening in the steam bath room, seating option, installation housing with revision for the steam generator, with about 7 kW thought of, three-phase current seems to be required, hot water connection and drain for the generator. In addition, the shower wall should be made of aerated concrete and sealing mats, stainless steel drain in the corner with corresponding system profiles. Does anyone have any tips on where to get more information about this?
