We are currently building a single-family house in Lower Saxony with a general contractor. At the beginning of this week, the reinforcement plaster was applied to the insulation on our exterior facade (ETICS - reinforcement plaster with fabric insert and topcoat). Temperatures were just above freezing.

I only found out that plastering would still take place this year through the applied reinforcement. I repeatedly asked whether it was not already too cold for this. This was always denied.

Next week, the topcoat is possibly to be applied. Now I have seen isolated bubbles in the existing plaster today (see photos). Are these already defects caused by the temperatures? Under these circumstances, is it even allowed to apply the topcoat? Or am I worrying too much and these isolated bubbles are completely normal?

Maybe someone can give me an answer now before I can ask the general contractor tomorrow.

Best regards
