Hello! Does anyone know the company Grozema? I want to have cavity wall insulation done and need a thermal conductivity class of 035 due to KfW energy-efficient renovation to Eff. House 151. Since I do not want beads in the wall, I chose the product Supafil from Knauf. Unfortunately, I cannot find any references about this product. It is a kind of glass wool for blowing in. So who can tell me something about this product or knows other alternatives to the beads with a WLG of 035? Many thanks in advance osmi

Hi osmi

To my knowledge, the product "Supafil" (cavity34) water-repellent, for the cavity, and Supafil for the internal insulation, are waiting for building authority approval. So it does not have a number yet. Although it is already being used in the Netherlands, France, and England. That is why you will not find any German references. Approval is expected around April. But until the first satisfied customers write a reference, that may take time. Experience values of synthetic resin insulation foam (thermal conductivity 0.035W/mK) go back to around 1975. Mostly satisfied homeowners. Of course, the prerequisite is that the executing company works conscientiously and according to the foam manufacturer's specifications. Hope this info helps you. Hi Mannus,
Thank you very much for your reply. I will probably wait until it receives approval in Germany.
