Hello,
thought I’d ask the experts :)

I have the half-height Billy shelf in my living room combined with the Benno shelves.
Since the Billy is deeper than the Benno, not everything lines up against the wall and I have a gap.
How have you combined Benno and Billy so that it looks somewhat okay?
(because if I place both against the wall, the front is not even)

Is there maybe a glass plate that you can put on the shelves so you no longer see the difference?

..thanks in advance for your experiences

I can't quite follow you, because if I put 2 Benno in the middle and a Billy on the right / left, then it fits, doesn't it? Do you maybe have a picture or can you define your problem more precisely? I think I'm a bit lost right now...

I think I understand your problem with the depth of the shelves, that then both shelves don’t end at the same height parallel to the wall - but you would have to explain the thing with the glass panel again. That somehow makes no sense to me at all!

 well, I didn't make myself clear enough. Sorry!

The depth of the Billy and Benno shelves is not the same.
If I place all the shelves at the same height, the Benno shelf does not touch the wall.
When you stand in front of the shelf, you can see that the Benno is not against the wall (because it is only half height). Even if I place the Bennos in the middle, you can still see the gap.

If I now put a glass plate or a wooden board on top of the shelves, you won't see the different depths of the shelves anymore.

...do you know what I mean now?

Yes, now I understand it too, ;) , what do you think if you simply take a cover panel from the kitchen program. For example, Perfect cover panel white with 37 cm depth, 76 cm or 99 cm long. They are also available for tall cabinets, which are then 195 cm or 217 cm long, 60 deep. Just cut it to size (in length and depth) and you already have a uniform surface. If you can't find your exact shade, or you don't like the cover panels, there is also the option of simply taking a side panel of a Billy from the bargain bin. As far as I know, they are already available for 3-4,-€. Then you have exactly the depth and the same color.

You could maybe also try to use the room/free space. Maybe you can place a nice floor lamp or something like that behind it... Maybe something along those lines:
