Besta IKEA cabinet fronts built crooked

I am at my wit's end and urgently need advice. I bought a Besta cabinet with 2 drawers on top and 2 cabinets below. It is assembled and hanging on the wall. But how the hell do I get the fronts straight? They just don’t run parallel and, moreover, the drawers on top are sticking out. Why? Pictures:

it looked like that for us as well. My husband somehow managed to get it done, but at some point I stopped caring about it (we can't do DIY together ). And therefore I unfortunately can't say exactly how he solved it. I assume in a rather complicated way with new drillings etc.
