Hello,

I am thrilled with this great piece. Pretty crazy in my opinion but okay. According to our kitchen salesperson, this extractor hood is a "men's thing."

Who has the Berbel Skyline, who can report something about it, and who can tell me exactly what they paid for it? As briefly mentioned by the article number, this is the Skyline with lighting and lift function.

Regards and thanks for your answers.

We initially also had such a "hanging on a wire cable" extractor hood. But decided against it for two reasons.

1. When you press the buttons, the thing swings around happily at first. If it has a remote control - that's the last thing I want lying around in the kitchen. That thing just flies around eventually and then has to be looked for.

2. You don't just have the 4 wires hanging, which is still OK. But then there's also a cable running along it. And that is too unsightly for us.

About this hood:
I am also a fan of gadgets, but too much is then too prone to any parts that can break.

ok, which model did you have installed?! And how long ago was that?! I tried it myself in the kitchen studio, there was no swinging when starting it.....

Yes, if you turn it on gently, there is little or no vibration. That was at the kitchen studio, no idea which exact model, but they were all the ones that were only hung up. If you are in a hurry when turning it on, it vibrates. That was at the beginning of the year, it should help with that.

You don't just do it once either. There is on/off, setting the extraction level, and possibly the light. If it still doesn't vibrate for you then, cross that off your list of criticisms.
