Hello,

I am considering combining my bathroom and toilet and whether it makes sense. I have a 55 m² apartment with a central hallway, making the apartment suitable for shared living and couples. Currently, I want to live there alone, but I want to rent out the apartment in the future and wonder if it makes sense to combine the toilet and bathroom again.

Here is the current proposal for the bathroom after renovation, once with meter details and once without:

Here is the proposal for the bathroom with the toilet inside:

Thanks in advance

The bathroom is not supposed to be wheelchair accessible, though?

No, unfortunately that doesn't make sense here, as there is also no lift.

Since I like having space, I prefer the integrated version, but not so much that I would tear down an existing wall for it without there already being a substantial need for renovation.

Ok, does the bathroom have a window? Where is it? With closed toalets, I find everything too small and too cramped. You should draw wider doors so that the small size of the room can be grasped. A 60 cm door leaf corresponds to almost one cabinet door. The door should be about 78 cm wide. And then it should not lead into a single piece WC hallway, from which the room gains nothing. In front of the washbasin, there should be space to move without having to bump your backside against other things.

No, the bathroom has no window; the doors are marked at 70 cm width, although that would only be the passage; door frame is not included; renovation is currently necessary anyway. The measurements are shown in a picture above
