Hi, I would gladly learn something about completed buildings! How do your bathrooms look roughly
- length by width of the floor area
- arrangement of bathtub, shower, washbasin, toilet in the room (top left/bottom right ...)
- number and position of drainpipes, representation in the room below
- ventilation through the roof --- boxed-in area, where, how large
- use of pre-wall constructions.

Background: Own bathroom planning, how are the washbasin, bathtub, shower drained ... routing in the intermediate ceiling? Under the ceiling (utility room ceiling)? Separately via drainpipes (corners of the utility room)? One does not know, would like to prepare myself for future discussions and get to know some practical examples.

I have already presented our solution here: There are two downpipes in the exterior wall with the window: one at the toilet flush with ventilation and another for the bathtub

Hello

Since the possible solutions vary greatly depending on the type of building and floor plan, solutions from other builders will probably not help you much.

Placing the wastewater pipes in the exterior wall can, under certain circumstances, significantly impair the thermal insulation.

Hello Jochen,

In the EW? And the architect and structural engineer just let that pass?

Rhine regards

Yes, that was planned that way in the detailed design from the beginning and was also agreed upon with the structural engineer. One downpipe was moved slightly because otherwise a concrete pad would have been in the way.
