For a few days now, we have been "living" in our new home, and among the other construction sites still waiting for us here, the bathroom accessories are naturally a topic. Over the weekend, I quickly went to the bathroom departments of the Bauhaus chains and wanted to get inspired by the design of the toilet brush holders, toilet roll holders, and bath towel rails. I was a bit startled by the prices :( (so far, I have only been browsing in the paint, electronics, and wall plug departments).

Our faucet design is angular and shiny chrome-plated; my husband likes the brushed stainless steel look... I do too, but... hmm... over €60, which is acceptable... regarding the accessory prices, I am not afraid to look around at reuter and co either, but this variety is overwhelming. Besides, I am getting stingy ;)

Do you have an online tip for me? What do you have? In the "old" house, I was not so demanding; there was a bar from wall to wall for 6 toilet rolls. Now the walls do not allow that anymore, and I want everything to match – it should also look elegant – and of course, be easy to maintain

Best regards, Yvonne

P.S. "Inserting graphics" is probably no longer possible here either????

Hello,

we are also currently selecting bathroom accessories and I came across the articles from "niewiederbohren". I quite like the look, I think we will order them and try them out.

Best regards

Hello Julia, thanks :)

Keuco Smart is really a bargain - too bad that you are already considering an exchange.

I have seen "Never drill again" at Obi... I also quite like it. But we have few tiles, so it can be drilled directly into the wall.

After 30 minutes on the web, I stopped at Zack fresco - I don't know yet if that will be it... there is so much!

Best regards, Yvonne

Yep: towel holder, towel bar and spare paper holder from Zack Fresco and brush wall holder from Zack Xero are what it has become. For the guest WC, mind you. (I remembered a few euros we got for Christmas :)) An old elk mirror has to make do for that... For our private bathroom, I'll take more time

Toilet paper roll on the windowsill, toilet brush a plastic item for the meantime and a few ceramic pieces from Budny or Tchibo.

Our big washbasin mirror is not even hanging yet :(:(:( instead, we are fumbling around in the garden...
