Good evening, our bathroom is now finished to the point that we can protect the shower area against moisture:

From our tiler we received the following:
PCI Lastogum 25kg
PCI Inner corner 3x
PCI Outer corner 1x
PCI sealing and uncoupling membrane-W membrane 2m (for the floor)
PCI Pecitape pipe collar 2x
PCI sealing tape (Pecitape) 15m

My question now, specifically related to the floor area:

Is the PCI sealing and uncoupling membrane-W membrane first fixed to the floor with flexible adhesive, cut to size, then the PCI corners applied, painted over, the sealing tape applied and completely painted over, after a drying time painted over a second time?
In other words: everything is built up on the mat (first mat on the floor, then the rest on top)

Or

Are the corners and surfaces (wall transitions) executed first,
then the membrane cut to size and placed from above onto the corners and tapes?
In other words: the floor is done last (at the corners, where the tile then overlaps onto the PCI sealing tape, glued with Lastogum)
The rest with flexible adhesive? Or is the entire membrane glued with flexible adhesive?

I hope you have understood my intention and I look forward to your answers

Best regards
Tanja Schmidt

Good morning,

in the shower, the Fermacell Powerpanel TE slope set is installed because it is an old building and there was only a floor structure of 6 cm available.
The drain was routed through the ceiling with a core drill.

Floor tiles: porcelain stoneware
50x15cm wet room R12

Wall tiles: porcelain stoneware
50x20cm

Tile adhesive:
PCI FT-EXTRA tile adhesive 25kg flexible tile adhesive

Grout:
PCI Nanofug Premium flexible grout mortar

To understand it correctly:
First, the waterproof PCI mat is laid on the floor with flexible adhesive with a 6mm notched trowel.
The edges that remain, in this case about 2 cm on each side, are embedded and coated with PCI Lastogum.

Once the "tray" on the floor is fixed, coat the transition a second time.

Then:
Work in PCI corners, then the sealing tapes, first vertically, then horizontally.
Afterwards, work in the wall connections with seals and skim all the walls.
For the second coat, work with a roller to ensure even higher strength of the tile adhesive.

Kind regards
Fam Schmidt
