Hello everyone,
I’ll just ask without much ado: how do I insulate correctly?
The ground floor is occupied and heated, and a screed is going to be installed on it; which one is recommended? Ceiling joist thickness there is 180 mm.
Rafter thickness in the roof slope and collar beam is also 180 mm.
Area 2 and 3 is a dead space where only 100% insulated heating pipes run; area 1 is supposed to represent a small attic space where there is still a small roof hatch and a folding ladder into the living area.
The roof is covered with Frankfurter tiles and underneath there is a foil that is not airtight (overlaps are not welded/sealed). The roof slope is 39°. It was built in 1990 and is a prefabricated house.
How should I insulate which area? That’s why everything is color-coded.
Thanks in advance
