Hello everyone,

we are building a prefab house in timber frame construction from Bien-Zenker. We have a shower with one side facing the exterior wall. Now we would like to install a shower cabin there, but we are not exactly sure what to consider in order not to damage, for example, the vapor barrier or insulation, etc.

Can you give tips here?

Thanks.

Best regards

The first point of contact would of course be Bien-Zenker.

But actually it doesn't matter, because you always have to go somewhere into the vapor barrier.
Excessive perforation should be avoided.

Do you have nothing hanging on the exterior walls otherwise? Kitchen cabinet? Toilet? Shelf?
