Hello,

I need to lay a lot of cable ducts on the basement ceiling insulation (EPS 8cm) soon and am looking for an inexpensive alternative to the rather expensive insulation anchors. Are there screws that hold in EPS without anchors? Or are there other ways to cheaply attach all the cable ducts to the ceiling?

Short answer: No, unless you want to use screws so long that they can be anchored in the ceiling. For that, however, you need an appropriately long drill bit, which also costs money.
