Attach a 42" TV to Ikea EXPEDIT TV shelf?

Hello,

After now being the owner of a new EXPEDIT TV shelf for 3 days and still needing to somehow fit my AV receiver in the middle compartment, I am now considering attaching the TV (Philips 42PFL7606K) to the middle shelf of the unit.
I have two questions about this:

1. Does the TV (13KG) hold on this middle brace as shown in the product image, or does the whole thing need to be fixed to the wall behind it?

2. How could this be implemented?

The board holds 13 kg.

Personally, I would always decide individually for myself whether to attach something to the wall or not. How firm or wobbly is it there? How does it react to a little push? Are there children running around the apartment or who like to climb on everything... This is not a recommendation, but only describes my personal risk behavior.
