Hello,
I need a realistic assessment of our financial strength. Brief key data;
Wife 33 (civil servant for life) / Husband 33 (employee with permanent contract)
Net income she, 1900 (currently on parental leave with 1 child) after 1 year then about 1800 with a part-time job (long-term a full-time job with about 3000 net is planned again, but we don't include that in our calculations.)
Net income he, 1900.
Equity just under 20,000 EUR
Currently we pay
Rent cold 460 EUR
Additional costs 200 EUR
Currently we can save just under 1600 EUR per month.
The desired property costs 283,000 EUR + 14% additional costs
Superficially (we would commission experts) there seems to be no need for renovation, kitchen and bathroom would be taken over.
So we should manage with just under 325,000 EUR, right?
We will make an appointment with our bank in the next few days and inquire, of course.
Still, many thanks in advance for answers and information on what I need to consider.
