Are painting costs per m2 reasonable?

I received an offer today for painting work for a new building in the Rhein-Erft district and would like to discuss whether the prices are reasonable. Alternative offers are on the way, but I would still like to hear your opinion.

These are gross prices per m2:

Sanding: 2.90
Priming: 1.50
Supplying painter’s fleece and wallpapering walls: 12.20
Painting: 6.20

So 22.80€ per m2 of wall and ceiling surface.

Do you think the prices are reasonable?

Whether the prices are reasonable I cannot judge because in the house which my parents built, a painting company has never done anything on or in the house.

But when I look at the prices you have set, I am glad that I have always trusted myself to do this and therefore do it myself, saving thousands of euros.

Good morning, that only helps to a limited extent of course. I guess everyone has to decide for themselves. If I calculate the effort for an entire house, it certainly wouldn't be worth it to do it myself. Especially if I have to look at the work I did for years. Better to have it done professionally once. Whether your own labor is cheaper than that of the painter has to be judged individually. Especially when you also consider the quality.
