today our aquarium broke and the water came out in a complete rush. we do have insurance, but maybe we could save on the building insurance (there are discounts if you don't make a claim and you only get 2-3 tries before cancellation anyway ^^).
i removed everything and took up the laminate. attached are some pictures.
do you think heating the screed for 1-2 weeks (there is underfloor heating) is enough and the issue is resolved? currently i have the heating set to 5 out of 6 and of course folded the foil as shown in the picture. or do you need to use a proper construction dryer with all the trimmings? the laminate is salvageable, as is the foil and everything else.
the cabinet is completely ruined, but we have contents insurance besides that.
