Hello,

our construction project is supposed to cost €440,000. We still need €230,000. For this amount, I have received a financing example from SAB. See picture.
I find the offer extremely good compared to the other banks. Too good?
Has anyone here already had experience with SAB?

You have no special repayment rights for all 3 components. Otherwise, it is a development bank. Quite reputable

In general, such financing through development banks can be quite attractive.

You just have to hope that the programs are not being changed at the moment and that the funding pot is still filled. We inquired at the SAB at the end of the year, and the pots were empty. No one could tell us what would come in the new year. Additionally, we had another risk that we might not have received the loan applicable to us. (Loan for infill development, although it was not an infill). That was why the SAB was out for us.

Regarding the loans themselves, I find the repayment rate of sometimes over 5% quite high.
However, that naturally depends on the very favorable interest rates, as otherwise, you would never finish.

The program is new, it just started in October. The conditions are subsidized, 75,000 euros per child, 50,000 for each BV and 50,000 extra for energy-efficient construction. So with you, up to 250,000 euros subsidized, the rest at marketable interest rates. But you do not have that rest. The only important thing is the following: You must have three comparative offers!!!

Thank you very much to you. Empty pots definitely doesn't sound so good. But we can also still wait. How should these comparison offers look? Simply the pdfs that were sent to us by the other banks? And where does it say that?
