Hello, I found your post via google and am responding because I promised Mr. Beis from Alufenster24 to share my decidedly positive experiences.
We are currently (still) building and will probably move into our new house by August. Contact with Alufenster24 started around January, after we had spent a longer time dealing with plastic windows. We had planned ceiling-height windows, which, in the plastic variant, should have been equipped with a transom (for stability). Since we are building quite high-quality and had envisioned a beautiful facade with lots of glass, we contacted some local metalworkers as well as the recommendation of our architect. The inquiry included 28 windows including roller shutters and 3 venetian blinds. The result was sobering! Of the 6 companies contacted, we received 4 offers. The offers ranged from €58,000 (no name 70 mm depth aluminum windows) to a staggering €91,000 (Schüco AWS 70.HI) windows.
Since such costs for our windows were definitely not included in our budget, my wife started looking for an alternative. On this path, we came across the website of Alufenster24. After a first nice phone call, we were informed that we should send architectural plans and a window schedule for a quotation by email. We then did that. After about 1 week, we received an offer from our contact person Mr. Beis. At first, we were very surprised because we now had an offer for Schüco AWS 75.SI windows with shading and warm edge at €49,000. Since all this seemed very suspicious to me, I tried to get in touch with Alufenster24 again. Unfortunately (and that was the only negative point), the initial contact was very laborious. I tried several times to reach Mr. Beis and was only able to reach him after about 1.5 weeks and 3 calls. Either he was on the move or in a meeting. Well, nevertheless, we were able to speak with him and discuss our construction project. Mr. Beis was very friendly, absolutely competent, and immediately understood what we were looking for. He helped very well with the planning of our windows. (Thanks again here).
(To shorten this whole thing): After some back and forth and a visit by Mr. Beis at our construction site, it was finally time—our order was to be placed. We were somewhat skeptical, however, about the payment condition of 50% prepayment, which gave us reason to check more carefully. Since we wanted to be sure that everything was legitimate, we wrote to Schüco to ask whether the company was known. After about 2 days, we received a reply email assuring us that Fa. albe GmbH and albe Hellas are official Schüco partners. Additionally, we checked with consumer protection to see if there were any negative characteristics. Since all inquiries about this company were positive, we decided to finally order our windows there. To be honest, even after the order, we were not quite sure whether it was the right choice—because what kind of windows should you get for 40% cheaper than the competition? Well, nevertheless, everything proceeded.
The delivery time was stated as 6-8 weeks. Our windows had apparently arrived at the Frankfurt warehouse after 8 weeks, but an installation date was only free in the 9th week after ordering. On the day the windows were delivered, I was personally on the construction site to see the windows. I must admit, I was still not calm about whether everything would meet my expectations. Especially since we had ordered double-colored windows (white inside—anthracite outside) and it was a special color tone. When the truck was unloaded and I held the first window in my hand, I was really relieved, even happy! At first glance, everything seemed good. I could not yet perform a detailed quality check as everything was still relatively wrapped. The installation team (3 men) immediately began distributing the elements and attaching the sun protection. On the 2nd day of installation, about 10 window frames had already been installed. Now you could really see the quality of the windows. I have to say, amazing! I have rarely seen such good workmanship. My expectations in terms of quality were not only met but really far exceeded. It was really noticeable that the craftsmanship was understood here. One disadvantage, however, was the missing protective film on the profile surfaces. There was a scratch during installation—I think this could have been avoided. After the 4th day of installation, all windows were in and the last adjustment work was carried out. Here, too, it was noticeable that the installers knew what they were doing. After completion of the work (the company had to come back once more because a window was still delivered later), I was more than satisfied. In the meantime, 2 months have passed and I find the windows even better and more attractive than on the first day. I am really glad I decided on aluminum windows and especially to have worked with Fa. Alufenster24. Despite some minor sluggishness, I can only highly recommend Alufenster24! It was definitely one of the trades for me with the best price-performance ratio and the least problems in comparison. So far, everyone who has seen our windows has asked where we got them from. And let's be honest—who asks where their windows come from?! For me, that is really a sign of having something special.
I hope I was able to help you and other interested parties.
Best regards, Nordie.
