Dear forum members,
In the heating guide of the Verbraucherzentrale (p. 129) it says: "There are central units, so-called compact units, which contain a heat pump and a hot water storage tank in addition to the ventilation system. Such units can also cool and replace the entire building technology in very well insulated houses, for example passive houses. The supply air then provides the heating energy, making another heating system unnecessary." Does anyone of you have such a system? What would be, from your point of view, the advantages (cheaper because all-in-one?) and disadvantages (maintenance/replacement is certainly expensive, dependence on one manufacturer...)?
