Hello friends,

I have now set up the controlled residential ventilation with WR Nibe Ftx 239 W.
In the basement, a volume of 95.3 m³ was determined in one room, with a factor of 1.5, supply air (target 16 m³/h determined value 22 m³/h). What does the factor stand for?
I am surprised, because if I calculate correctly, the air in the room is only exchanged after 6 hours (in the living room after 4.4 hours (140.6 m³ factor 3 should be 31 m³/h, is 32 m³/h). Can that be correct? Or is there something wrong with the Nibe?

Hello,
The correct air volume flows can be taken from the air volume plan according to DIN 1946-6 (nominal ventilation). These values are also taken into account in the heating load calculation. When balancing the system, the specified values must be adhered to; otherwise, problems may arise in very well-insulated buildings (KFW 55 and better).
It is important during balancing that calibrated attachment hoods are used.

Best regards
