Hello everyone,
we are currently planning our single-family house. One thing is certain, we will use classic Poroton walls and an approximately 16cm insulation layer on the outside.
What bothers me especially is the plaster, which is planned as the standard cladding, for the following reasons:
is fire-prone
can be dented (footballs, etc.)
needs to be repainted from time to time
( in my opinion ) does not look good
Of course, I have already done some research and would prefer to use brick cladding (at least partially), which, however, is very expensive. I should also add that we are building on an existing basement and due to the boundaries with the neighbors we cannot build much beyond that.
What other nice and affordable alternatives are there?
We can also only imagine partial claddings with wood, stone, or zinc sheet metal, the question is only how to implement something like that and what it costs?
