Hello everyone,

my husband and I want to start building in the spring.

Currently, we are looking for a plot of land and want to have found a suitable one by spring. If that is not the case, we will wait a few more months. Nothing will run away from us...

Now to our question. A single-family house with a basement and a double garage is planned. However, we are still unsure about the building material...
Prefab houses are out for us.

We have already gathered information here and there and cannot decide.

Can you list pros and cons for us?

Thanks in advance

... Aerated concrete (Hebel or Ytong) .. quite clear and definite ... there is nothing better for you ...

How do you want to know that? You can't just claim that so generally. You don't even know the requirements that are set.

Well, construction strategist, we would like to have reasons that speak for or against it...
