Hello

I would like to get some tips on the subject of exterior plaster on aerated concrete.

What would you recommend? Which material, which order.

The plasterer wants more than three times the price per m2 compared to the interior.
Can that be true?

I prefer something quite smooth. I'm not really into rough plasters.

I hope you have some tips for me or some recommendations on which material I could use.

That can be true – inside you simply don’t have the problem with driving rain resistance and such, so the requirements for the material on the outside are somewhat different. Otherwise: use a closed system where all components are matched to each other, and let the professional with experience in this stuff handle it. DIY usually doesn’t pay off here.

Regards
I.

It's about the labor, not the material

If the material is more expensive, that wouldn't be a problem, but I don't think it's okay to pay more than three times the labor cost for the same work.

He wants to prime the house first, then plaster it with cement plaster, and afterwards apply the facade. At least that's how I understood him.

On the internet, I read that you can plaster aerated concrete more easily or differently.

The work is also somewhat different... base plaster, reinforcement, top plaster, and depending on the system, in several layers - it’s definitely not the same work. By the way, there is a plastering recommendation on the pages of a major aerated concrete manufacturer (just try googling it) - this allows you to estimate the amount of work.

For this, scaffolding must probably be erected outside. Inside, this was presumably not the case.
