We want to build a house. In a preliminary meeting with a developer, he emphasized the advantages of building the house with Liapor. Advantages: faster construction, good thermal insulation, pipes for wiring can be pre-installed.

Are there any other advantages compared to aerated concrete? What are the disadvantages?

We were also offered to build with this material using solid prefabricated construction. Unfortunately, I am just as clueless as you are. May I ask which company the house is supposed to be built with?

In comparison of price - insulation values - soundproofing, there are simply better options, even if they no longer arrive almost ready to the construction site. I only made the comparison once, either the dealer was just being outrageous or he didn't want to sell at all. The time advantage does not compensate for the price, nor the labor costs.

I personally believe that expanded clay aggregate brings as many advantages as disadvantages in conventional residential construction. If I am a self-builder, I can build easily myself, but in every way I prefer the exterior finishing in KS. Whether in small-format construction or prefabricated (KS-PE), which only have positive characteristics in comparison, which I would be happy to explain in more detail.
