Hi!
We have just received the partial payment for the completion of the rough installation. Which surprises me a bit, since the underfloor heating is still missing! I have googled that all flush-mounted and under-screed work should be completed.
Should I just pay the invoice or talk to the general contractor that I withhold 3% until the work is completed?

Here is the payment schedule:

5% Input plan (withheld)
15% Foundation slab
15% Ground floor ceiling
10% Shell construction/topping-out ceremony
5% Roof covering
10% Window installation
10% Rough installation
10% Screed
15% Exterior plasterwork
4% Front door installation
1% Handover

Hi

Regarding the arrangement / sequence of the payments

ELT installation without switches, sockets and other small stuff
Water, sewage and heating pipes, distributor for underfloor heating and the underfloor heating itself
no heat generator with hot water preparation yet and no connections to the supply lines

Talking almost always helps

Ok, thanks! So just as I thought, underfloor heating still needs to be installed!

Hey, I received an answer from my main contractor:

Apparently, the costs for underfloor heating, interior plaster, final electrical installation, and final sanitary installation then fall under the 10% screed or 15% exterior plaster installment payments!

Hi

Doesn't seem entirely conclusive to me, the underfloor heating is installed during the shell construction.
But it's not entirely unreasonable to attribute the underfloor heating to the screed, insulation, underfloor heating, and screed.

Especially since screed triggers an additional 10%. Without underfloor heating, these 10% would be significantly overpaid. I find that understandable.

Raw installation is not derived from shell construction. Shell construction is before the window. So creating the volume with roof construction.
