Good morning,

we are supposed to get started next. At the moment, the status "Bahnhof" is written all over my forehead! How have you involved yourself in the topic? Blindly trusting the consultants is definitely out of the question for us.

Are there any books/websites one should have read?

Many thanks in advance

Read a lot, forums are a good place for that. Either work your way through the topics energetically or just read the newest posts for a longer period of time. After 2 years of skimming through forums, you will have picked up quite a bit and will have at least a good professional idea of the things that exist.

A quite good investment has been the "RWE Bauhandbuch" with us. The scope is huge and sometimes rather for professionals, but you can find a detailed explanation for every keyword.

Read forums and search more specifically on Google or in the forum for certain topics that are then relevant to the trade and ask questions. Also ask acquaintances who have already built. When I think about what I didn’t know two years ago and now know, that is quite enormous!

Listen to the opinions of the advisors, but still investigate and I have learned to never trust anyone blindly... This is not to say that everyone told lies, but I always felt better when I had informed myself!

Thank you very much for your answers. I have now chosen two books but additionally (at least at first glance) found a file on the internet
