Hello everyone! I am new here and have a question right away ;-) According to the land registry office, we are in 1st place for our desired plot after the count. However, according to the employee, this still has to be officially approved by the committee for us to have the confirmation. Can anyone say how high the probability is that it will actually be like that? Is it basically just a formality? I am so impatient ;-D

Without knowing the details about what kind of committee it is, how it is composed, what tasks it has, who counted what and why you are in first place, I will assume the usual decision-making process in official procedures and claim that it is just a formality now. If the committee is of course still examining facts that are not intended to be considered in the selection process, e.g. preferred building for low-income families, it could still be difficult for you.

Hi. Okay, I gave very little information there. Unfortunately, I don’t know any more either :-D
The allocation of places depends on the number of children, how long you have lived in the city, whether you own other properties, etc., or whether people in need of care live in the household. Points are then awarded accordingly.
Well, I hope for the best, thanks anyway!

And then comes the brother of the neighbor of the divorced wife of the second mayor of the neighboring village....

My opinion: What you don’t have in writing, you don’t have.

Possible, nonetheless I would be optimistic. Usually, the property committee of a municipality sets the award criteria and commissions the administration with the technical execution. After the deadline expires, the result is presented, explained, and decided upon in the next committee meeting. The committee members can verify through targeted questions to the administration whether the procedure was carried out properly. This is specifically to prevent the aforementioned scenario. And if the property office has already been persuaded to make a statement... If things proceed as such or similarly with you, try searching in the council information system (if available) when the next meeting is, whether the award is on the agenda, if the meeting is public, and watch the whole thing live.
