Every German citizen spent on average 17 percent more on heating in 2008 than in the previous year. This is revealed by the new nationwide heating index 2009, which the non-profit co2online GmbH published together with the German Tenants' Association (DMB) on October 1st. For this, co2online analyzed 52,000 building data sets nationwide. The Federal Ministry for the Environment supports the heating index campaign within the framework of the climate protection initiative.

I only heard that on the radio yesterday. The trend will probably intensify in the next few years if crude oil becomes extremely expensive again!

Hello

I find the compiled causes by the Gesamtverband Steinkohle e.V. interesting
(the information is still supplemented by this)

Seen in this way, we are still lucky in misfortune because of the crisis,
otherwise it could have even doubled.

Best regards

There is likely to be a significant decrease in 2009, as both the costs for heating oil and natural gas have dropped. However, this statement does not fit into the worldview of the tenants' association nor into that of [Energiesparen]. The long-term trend of rising energy costs is certain, but simply extrapolating is not.
